Description: Created by David Armsby. facebook.com/davidarmsbyartist After the popularity of "Redone" I decided to create another original animation. I prefer making original shorts because I can be more creative and exploratory. This behind-the-scenes video more or less runs through my creative process when crafting the dystopia featured in my recent animated short "Being Pretty". I created a sketchbook and logged all of my ideas, doodles and ramblings. I explore the themes of the short, the meaning behind a lot of the imagery and my thought-process while crafting this dystopian society.
